Pirates took over the State House in Columbus on Friday, Jan. 31 to compete against students from across the state in the annual We the People Competition.
The Pirates finished third and the unit four team made up of Milo H., Michael G., Haylee S. and Makenna M. earned the highest marks out of our entire class. Teacher P. J. Carlisle said, "All of our students should be commended for their hard work and dedication to mastering the content and being able to illustrate and apply their understanding of constitutional principles to complex issues in the most stressful of situations."
