Senior Spotlight - Kiara

Meet Kiara. She has been a Pirate since kindergarten. She participated in a variety of activities in High School including cheer, varsity basketball, softball, dance drill team, student council and Business Professionals of America.

She has done all of this while also taking College Credit Plus (CCP) courses in Psychology, Sociology, Composition I and Composition II.  The CCP credits she earns now will be transferred to Bowling Green State University where she plans to major in sports management and play in a club sports team. She credits High School teacher, Mrs. Carlisle, with always being supportive and pushing her to not settle and always do better. Her encouragement helped Kiara earn all A’s during the first semester of school. She said her current GPA is 3.547, but predicts that will go up thanks to her grades and CCP classes.

Her future goal is to be in an NFL stadium interviewing players in front of the camera and be even more involved in sports. One of her favorite experiences during High School was seeing the increase in Pirate Pride and school spirit. She has seen it even more during her Senior year. Congratulations Kiara! You will always be a Pirate! #westcarrolltonclassof2025
