Senior Night is always a highlight for students and families, and Monday was an exceptional evening for the soccer team. Gavin Hardy has served as the Team Manager for four years. He is a special needs student at the High School who has been embraced by the team, but has never played --- until Monday night!
Surrounded by his teammates, Gavin came onto the field to play and score a pre-game point. The crowd chanted his name and his teammates joined in the celebration. Even the opposing team was cheering! We are so proud of Gavin, his teammates, the Pirate coaching staff, the Meadowdale team and Meadowdale coaching staff for making this a special night for a special student.
