1000 Books Before Kindergarten
That may sound like a lot of books, but reading just one book a day to your child adds up quickly! One book a day for a year is 365 books; two years is 730 books; and three years is 1,095 books!
Reading a few books at bedtime, reading at the Library, listening to audiobooks or Dial A Story by calling 937-250-7500, and even reading a favorite book over and over all count!
The Dayton Metro Library is offering small prizes at key milestones: 250, 500, 750, and 1,000 books read. CLICK HERE to register online or register in person at any Dayton Metro Library branch.
